The acrylic crystal distortion is just beautiful.

Wearing the Damasko today (notice the blueish AR tint)

The Damasko gains 2 sec/day and the Sinn gains 9 sec/day.

Damasko on Sinn OEM strap for the rest of the day.

I love this Tetra. Which flower is it? ....
Andreas, it's from the now discontinued Tetra 2 series aimed specifically at women.

See here for a press release from 2008 (scroll past the Nomos Club announcement): http://forums.watchuseek.com/f8/baselwo ... post923265

There were many models, not just the 5 in the link above.

Not sure what the Tetra 2 models were named after (mine is "thousand years" - is that a flower? :) ), but here are their German names.

I got mine a few years ago from a German "bricks and mortar" jewellery+watch shop that advertised on chrono24.

At that time, the Tetra2 series was still displayed on Nomos' website but they were not taking direct online orders from my country and required that I buy from the authorised agent. However, the agent didn't have any stock as the series was getting pretty rare by then. So I did a search, contacted the German shop, had some discussions on the best method of payment and delivery (I told them not to proudly advertise it was a Nomos watch or that they were a jewellery shop on the package!), and it arrived without a hitch.

ddav wrote:Sorry... Wasn't too clear. I did indeed mean the strap. Maybe a couple of mm more would fill those wire inspired lugs.
Like the lugs on the Hamilton Marine also
Agreed 20mm would like good also. Lovely watch that Hammi. Guess the WW1 is the fleiger version of the Seiko Sumo in that respect.

Thanks Aifo. Maybe the Hanhart? Size depending

Haven't worn this one in a while:

To lower the tone from the higher end watches...and because it's six nations time...

...a freebie from Cotton Traders sans seconds hand. Well, it fell off (such is the build quality) and I removed it from the face.

Usual apologies for the poor quality photo work.
