Seeing (and loving) all the Ranger photos over the last few days made me try this one today.

Not a Ranger, but it'll do me!

(This one has the new Miyota movement! :P;):D )

Thanks for the nice comments. I got this for a literal steal. Won't say how much exactly but too good to refuse. Ex display watch. I'll post more pics soon and a special "affordable" watch owner SOTC.

Still wearing my Halios Tropik SS today. Exceptional customer service from Jason. He dropped me a message a week after I bought the watch asking if everything was fine. I told him I was quite happy but had minor quibbles with the bezel being too tight and the timekeeping at losing 9 secs a day - both of which I could live with. He gave me the contact of a watch repair shop very close to me and told me to get both the bezel loosened and watch regulated at his cost.

Yup. He said if it has his own watch, he wouldn't live with it and I should get it fixed. He also told me that the new Tropik SS bracelets weren't upto his expectations and caused him a lot of anguish.
Quoting "The bracelet was delayed for over a year, and when it arrived, I will be the first to admit that it’s not as good as I’d like. I honestly can’t read any bracelet threads on WUS because it causes me a ton of anguish. To install it, try this: working on the bottom (6 o’clock half) of the bracelet and with the watch dial facing you, try inserting the LEFT springbar tip first. Then, after that’s seated, put in the right side. Flip the watch and do the left side again for the other bracelet end."

My Seiko turtle (6309-7040) on a turtle. It was back on my wrist again a few moments later though. The turtle, that is, not the turtle...

Have been wearing the GMT master II pilots watch for the last week and a half as my do it all holiday watch.

Went scuba diving this morning down to 55 ft. Who needs a dive watch with a 600 meters depth rating??

Then chilled out on the beach this afternoon for a bit 8)

Before having a pleasant sail about.....

It lets me know that it is 5 past seven here and 5 past midnight at home (as I type this) which is handy for timing calls back home.

That is Negril, Jamaica. I didn't have a dive computer or anything else on the other wrist, we were just using an old School air reserve / depth gauge and a wrist watch. The water is so warm I didn't even bother with a wet suit, bliss :D

That's the best kind of diving. I prefer just swim trunks and a rash guard. Jealous.
