Re: Non CW of the Day
Tried my Speedy on a leather for the first time today. Wife really dislikes it so would welcome any opinion from you lot?
Not the best photo's but hopefully enough to see if you think it works or not. I thought it looked quite nice to for the occasional change from the bracelet.

That is one of those watches that would look good on any strap. I prefer the bracelet, but I think it looks fine on the strap.

I don't like black straps but looks OK and red stitching picks out details on face. IMO would be better on brown but that's my choice.

She certainly wasn't impressed when I went on to wear it that way after her comment, made her feelings well known(as our women like to )andyg wrote:listen to the Missus mate, it isn't worth not doing so.
It was the red stitching I liked for the above reason, thought it gave it a little bit of a pop. Hadn't thought about trying brown TBH.Proco2020 wrote:I don't like black straps but looks OK and red stitching picks out details on face. IMO would be better on brown but that's my choice.
Yep, the bracelet it tough to beat, but you know how it is, we get a bit itchy for a change now and againdowner wrote:That is one of those watches that would look good on any strap. I prefer the bracelet, but I think it looks fine on the strap.
