Speedmaster Professional, Ref: 311.30.42.30.99.001.
Made in a limited edition of 1975 pieces only, for the Apollo-Soyuz 35th anniversary.

Amazing dial made from a meteorite!

Great picture. You can really see how fabulous those textured sub dials look on there.
Thanks, it really is tricky to capture the dial texture, I think thats my best attempt but even then it seemed to lose out once uploaded to photobucket.

@Viogner, its the limited edition Speedy Soyuz with meteorite dial.

[Edit]Konketsu beat me to it ;)

^^ Stunning Tetlee ( and thanks Jeff for the ref#). With only 1975 pieces explains my first ever look at one. She's a rare one.

Unusual to say the least, but the more I looked at it trying to work out the time (5.55?), I found myself liking it more and more.

5.55 is correct. The small dial is the seconds dial so is moving constantly. I was intrigued by it but not enough to pay full price, luckily the dealer also does some standard auctions on ebay and I won this at less than half of what he sells them for on a buy it now deal.
