Thanks IAJ, great little stall. Got your usual boring vintage Rolex, Navitimers and constellations but also some real gems like a MIRROR dial lobster, F300's, 1940s movado's, JLC memovox diver, in turquoise and that big block Longines on the left hand side is on a leather strap made from Elephant
I miss all the great things that may never be.

Lux-Sport today (old pic). Bought my first fountain pen - Pelikan M200 - writes like butter. Bought the purple Sailor Sapporo earlier for my gf and I prefer the Pelikan even though it has a steel nib while the Sailor has a gold nib. My appreciation for German goods keeps going up while that for Japanese goods keeps going down (same as for watches).

I meant that the Pelikan pen is German while the Sailor is Japanese. I might have come out too harsh in my previous post. There are many Japanese things I love, but not this one. Fortunately, my gf likes it and it was bought for her, so its all well  Also, the Kon-Peki ink really rocks!

Thanks Guys, the biggest thing I have learned on my journey is how important straps are. A well made hand made strap like this one really suits this kind of watch. It really improves the feel and look of the watch.

It would look equally good on your Explorer, I reckon!
