The Steinhart GMT hands are always slightly misaligned.

Do you have personal experience of this or have you just read it on the internet?

Seems like a pretty random and unsubstantiated statement :?

I had a 44mm GMT and now this one, no problem with either. It's a silly comment.

I speak from experience with my own Steinhart GMT Pepsi and a lot of other people also complain about the same. It is a common problem with ETA 2893-2, some slack in the GMT hand - its not a big deal. If mattk photographs his watch at 4 o' clock for example, it will be clearer. However, the great thing is you can manually tweak/adjust the GMT hand while setting the GMT hour to make it (almost) perfectly aligned. My Steinhart bezel also was not perfectly aligned, there is some clockwise 'play' which makes it hard, but with some use it is pretty good now. The Steinhart GMT remains my most worn watch since its arrival.

See, for example - when my watch arrived it was aligned this way - At 1:58 the GMT hand is behind, while it should be exactly at 14. It reached 14 exactly at 2:10 (now about 2:05 after tweaking).

So from LA without having seen my watch in the flesh you're still saying mine is misaligned?

If I'd have purchased a watch that had a misaligned GMT hand and bezel I'd have sent it back.

Relax, I'm sure its just my OCD. I told you because of the way it appeared in the pic - If you can see that its fine, then its fine.

Still better than Christopher Ward - they have officially messed up 2/2 of my orders now, sending me the product I did not order.
