Re: Non-CW of the Day
I've been having a small (sub 40mm) watches theme week:
Monday:

This watch always makes me smile, and I don't DO gold watches.
Tuesday I felt the need for something fun. Wifey bought this as a souvenir on our New York trip:

Interestingly, all the staff at the Swatch store were 'Doing a Village". All staff are required to wear the NYC watch on one wrist, and another Swatch of their choosing on the other. The staff were all quite passionate about Swatch. Hopefully a few of the will become full-blown WIS when the are a little older.
Chrono day today:

It really has nothing in common with the Speedy Pro, but the white hands are a gentle reminder that I NEED a Speedy! They really make this the most legible watch that I own. From what I have seen Hamilton only did these hands for a short time. 90's Field chronos and current ones both use silver hands, all in the standard Hammy Field style.

Yes indeed! I consider it a steal at ~GBP125, of course there are flaws on this watch (e.g. easily scratched case) but I do like the dial design. Thank you for the interestPhil0886 wrote:Very nice indeed Mr Aifo, is that the Presage OH in your signature?

It's an outrageously good looking watch for the money, I can feel a shopping trip coming on...!by Aifo » Fri Dec 02, 2011 2:46 am
