Thanks for the comments on the Zenith, chaps. Today was the first time I wore it with a proper shirt (no tie though), and it felt far more at home. The last couple of weeks (not at work), wearing it with a t-shirt had me wondering if it was too 'posh' for me, but with a half-decent shirt, it was fine and (probably) a keeper.ddav wrote:Suited and booted Sir!downer wrote:

Re: Non CW of the Day
i wear a "proper" shirt so rarely any more, that could be a deal killer.
of course, i'm willing to wear my junghans dress watch with a hawaiian or batik shirt and khakis, so i guess that just makes me relatively improper when it comes to proper pairing of watches to how i'm dressed . that said, i wouldn't wear it w/tshirt + shorts, so maybe i'm not a complete lost cause.

Cheers Footy. The car was parked, and the picture was a lucky shot with my phone camera.footycrazy wrote:

Just stunning Richard!!!! Wow.
Now with your "(probably) a keeper " note........ I envision about 50 of us on the forum doing the math on what we could sell just in case it ever came up for sale
Great picture and looks fantastic with that shirt.
Small collection of timepieces that I enjoy

Is great, think it's a fantastic design compared to any other tonneau out there, did you go for black, or white? Or red I see now!gaf1958 wrote:Looks good! I'm waiting for mine to arrive, hopefully within the next week. What it like in the metal?giblets46 wrote:Kemmner Tonneau, arrived yesterday!

Re: Non CW of the Day
After much consideration of black or white (reading reviews, looking at web images etc), I bought a black one.giblets46 wrote:Is great, think it's a fantastic design compared to any other tonneau out there, did you go for black, or white? Embarrasingly, 5 days after I bought the black one, Roland advertised some red ones , which my research had never shown up, and ... well... I kind of... you know... bought one.
So there are two of them on their way to me. At this stage I don't know if I'll keep both or not. I plan to put the black dial one on a tan strap of some sort, and the red one on a Hirsch Grand Duke in black with red stitching (...here's a strap I prepared earlier!). I think they may be sufficiently different to keep both, but time will tell.
In any case, it's nice to see one show up here.

I noticed the red one and quite like it. Will be interested to see some better photos than the ones on ebay.
