Is this a keeper? It might be, but too early to tell.

I've been trying to bond, but it didn't help that I had to flip straps because the one it was on was too big, or rather, has too few holes, meaning it's now on a strap that I wouldn't ordinarily have chosen for it :(

And I've tried all day to take a decent photo and failed, as you can see.

Still, the more I look at it, I see the quality of finish and think it has to stay :D

Great, almost iconic, watch John and the strap you have now looks good too.

I know it's not the biggest of watches @ 41mm but it does seem to have a healthy lug2lug length that (perhaps IMHO) from the photos makes it look a tad large on your wrist?

Be patient though as initial feelings can be deceptive.

When I got my C11 Makaira Elite 6 months ago I wasn't initially smitten, and other forum members seem to have their reservations; but after a six week absence a while ago, whilst it was at CWL, and some experimentation with straps it is now one of my firm favourites.

For me, this watch has so little that I normally like, and in theory it should do nothing for me, but the more I see these, the more I am hooked and god I want one!

Absolutely love it!

I don't think you can go far wrong with a Ball and I really like this one.

Have you ever posted a review of your Damasko? I'm sure many of us on here would be very interested in hearing your views on it.

Switched to this for tonight. Dinner at my cousin's who gave me this shirt for Father's Day a couple weeks ago. Blue and Black stripes to match!
