Re: Non-CW of the Day
Nice watch Ian.... Congrats!
I will say that I hate reprogramming those things after changing a battery though.

Re: Non-CW of the Day
Ian, I think you know that I am no Breitling fan (but I do want a Navitimer), so obviously this must be taken with some salt, but that really is truly hideous to my eyes. I don't like those quartz analogue-digital hybrids anyway, but that one is especially nasty to my view. I have to confess some of your others have started to persuade me that as a brand they aren't that bad (but my favourite is probably the Superocean which doesn't really look like a Breitling!), but really, those italicised numerals? Urggh.

Re: Non-CW of the Day
Very nice Richard. This is my next watch on "the list", it is going to be an expensive year with the FLE too and what ever CW tempts me with later on in the year

I can resist everything, Except temptation

Is that a real photo or Photoshopped? It is hard to tell now that you are getting so good with Photoshop.downer wrote:Oops. Forgot the wrist pic..

The watch is real, but I airbrushed the wrist to make it look better. Didn't do a very a good job.ianblyth wrote:Is that a real photo or Photoshopped? It is hard to tell now that you are getting so good with Photoshop.downer wrote:Oops. Forgot the wrist pic..

Very nice Richard, it probably is my imagination but hasn't your seiko count gone up by 1?
I miss all the great things that may never be.

Re: Non-CW of the Day
Was on TA stuff today so it was a fine opportunity to wear my favourite military watch.
