Well I'm loving the hand crafted strap better - the house internal decorum and design is the wife's dept ! (I just go to work and make sure we sleep safe and well in our sacks at night)
The NATO arrived looking like a piece of bloody caramel. Not good. So for the tenner I paid for it I had not a lot to lose. Out with the 120 grade and off I went. Quite pleased with the end job (took about 10 mins).
Any further "distressing" it needs, I'll let the dog chew on it for a bit
Regards
Greg

Quite agree.
Its a new Monkeyswag leather ZULU that I bought recently from Dancematt, which needs a bit of wearing in and softening up. One factor is that, due to the thickness of the strap, my OM Explorer is the only watch I have that it will fit on due to the gap needed between the case and springbar!
Very tempted to get an alternative, thinner, leather NATO.
