Awesome! We need a full report! Especially regarding whether you can carry off the size compared to your Halios Tropik.

Congratulations!

If they made a non-cyclops version of this I would be seriously stashing $$ in a watch fund! Still great looking watch Jeff.

You could get the crystal replaced with a non-cyclops one.. Or remove the cyclops... But modifying a Rolex is kind of like modifying a Ferrari or Rembrandt.

I have learned to love the cyclops. :D

Looks good. I must admit, I've also switched my Solo to a regular Bremont strap - from the Vintage/Deployant, and it now feels more comfortable. Mine is on a brown strap, but I may swap to black, as yours looks good.

This black one is on the deployant and feels good. The vintage is nice but a little thick under a cuff. But it's comfortable on a normal buckle, although I found it quite uncomfortable on the deployant.

If I can find a lightly used regular brown strap with white stitching I would probably get one of those too.
