Been wearing my Speedy today, having put it back on the bracelet a couple of weeks ago..



I decided to remove another link from the bracelet, and whilst storing the spare link in the box, I was reminded how the packaging blew me away when I purchased this watch...







I know it should be about the watch, and the horology, but that's me: Shallow.

It is splendid!

Omega really do some nice boxes for some of their top end and limited edition models but that has to be one of the best. I saw the Omega Bullhead the other day and that comes in a large zip round case, nice, but not in the same league as that.

Also, those two Junghans are both stunning fellas.

Wow that is cool! What is different about the 50th anniversary speedy, i see some numbers on the dial, is that the limited edition numbers?

Sapphire front/back

Crikey Downer! You don't really do plain and simple good watches do you?! They are all fairly spectacular it seems to me

Cheers WS. I have been lucky to find a few limited edition versions in good value deals, and I'm fortunate to have a wife who is quite happy to tolerate my strange affliction. In fact, I just mentioned another incoming, and barely an eyebrow was raised.
