New watch, solve the riddle
I have just ordered •drum roll• a new watch! I know, I know! I have said I’m consolidating and I am, but this is something I have been considering on and off for some months. As if that is a valid excuse!
Anyhow, I’m not telling you what it is, but this doggerel will provide the necessary clues:
One who is Willing to Do the job
in the great silent darkness
the Musical Emperor would approve
as would a vegan WIS
Donald Trump not so much
who am I?

I’ll provide a clue: the brand name is found in the first line.

Re: New watch, solve the riddle
It does require a bit of imagination and some linguistic thinking ...

Re: New watch, solve the riddle
Ok what about this at a stretch:
Willing to do the job = law abiding = Nomos
In the great silent darkness = under water in the deep = a watch with good WR = an Ahoi
The musical Emperor = German connection = Nomos
Vegan WIS = textile, rather than leather strap
Trump = Small (seconds) hand
And by that tortuous route I get a Nomos Ahoi!

That is really good Neil, about your method - but also totally wrong regarding conclusions!
