Very nice. I love the white sweep hand, it seems like it would be exceptionally visable. Very simple in a good way. A job well done.

I wonder why it is smoother than the Aviator, is it a better quality 2824-2 movement or has it been modified by Sinn in some way, anybody know?
I have an Aviator and a C5.
The rotor on the Aviator is nice and smooth and the C5 is jerky.
Must be down to tolerances somewhere along the line or possibly become smoother as it runs in,only guessing 8)
I don't know Rick,

I somehow doubt any of this. The jerkiness is caused by back-spring tension. It also means that your watch is well wound and close to the end. You would have to allow both watches to completely wind down and them make some observations after some controlled winding.

Nice looking watch, Leebman. As for all machines and designs, 'if it looks right ....' I also like the batons-only dial, and the hands suit it. Looks a nice finish on the case...

About the theories(?) on the 2824 rotors - when my Zenith was serviced I mentioned to my watchmaker that the rotor wasn't exactly sweet afterwards. He had it back and readjusted the rotor bearing, I believe. All was as lovely as before. ... UB

Well then, you may have something there. You eliminated what I thought it should be. Have it checked out by a watch maker if you think it's serious.

Hi Joe yep I'll try and get the macro function going on my camera, as for the lume its pretty good if you charge it with a uv torch for 20 seconds you need sunglasses to look at it 8) and there's enough dim lume left for the early hours in the morning.
