Paul I don’t normally like pilot style watches, well other than those originally designed for Pan-Am.

That however looks the business and is the colour I would go for - except I seem to be showing more restraint than you in the “buying no more watches” game! :)

An excellent pick up.

I like the finish on the case, and I like the dial. My only reservation is the crown (the size/shape). How is it in real life, Paul?

So so nice. Reminds me of my old bell and Ross ww1 in a way obviously but better. The lume on these is blinding. I'd go blue dial if they ever had a sale. Rrp is too rich for me. Did you manage to negotiate a deal?
I miss all the great things that may never be.

Quite surprisingly you dont even notice it on the wrist Richard. It doesnt really protrude that far at all and it is very smooth to the touch. Very easy to engage and adjust but probably adds no more width than a trident with its crown protectors.
Winding and adjusting the crown the action is the smoothest of any watch I have handled.

Thanks Paul. I really like this watch, and the colour is also the one I'd go for. Maybe you could also send me the PM you sent to Pete?

I too would ask you for details of the deal you got but it would be pointless unless the discount was about 90% or more

Pics confirm it's a beauty, congratulations again
