New incoming - Dark Side of the Moon
Re: New incoming - Dark Side of the Moon
What a fantastic watch and what a fantastic post. It is great to read of your passion and enthusiasm for this Omega, and your pictures show the remarkable quality and detail very well. There are some aspects of this watch that I've personally not seen before - the mixture of polished and matt ceramic and the wonderful dial detailing.
Even though it was expensive, I for one can absolutely see the value in this purchase!
Congratulations on a fine acquisition, and a great post.

A simply gorgeous watch. I believe the combination brushed and polished ceramic finish is particularly difficult to manufacture apparently. I wasn't aware that Omega also threw in the white gold hands too. I remember when the watch was first announced and enquiring about them in an AD. The salesman told me he expected prices to be similar to other new limited edition speedys?!?!?!?! I knew that could never be right. How could it be. It's a very pricey Omega but I actually think it's worth it. Too big for me though

It.... it... it's beauuuuutifullll!
Wow, what a watch, I think I have a new grail, although for me certainly one I will NEVER own.
Great pics and nice story, enjoy that stunner, I'd be staring as my wrist as much as kids stare at their mobile phones!

Nice watch! Luckily the 44mm size means it's way too big for me therefore I'll never be tempted to buy one.

Wonderful watch. Really nice post as well, must be very satisfying to lust over a watch and then be able to buy it from your local AD and feel you got a good deal. I am very sure you will enjoy it immensely!

That is a very nice watch, think I would be scared to wear it outside though. Thinking about it that watch probably cost the same as Cheryl Cole's bum tatoo and it should be around when her bum is old and wrinkly!

Great post
Knowing nothing about this watch beforehand (apart from the name) I decided to spend a little time reading up about it.
I was mightily impressed by the reviews and can only add my congratulations to you.

Re: New incoming - Dark Side of the Moon
How did I miss the original post?! That has to be one of the best pieces I have seen in a long time. I originally thought the DSOTM would provoke a 'meh' response but the pictures scream quality of material and design. Congratulations on an excellent piece.
Re: New incoming - Dark Side of the Moon
My new favourite. Your pictures sell it better than the promo stuff, congrats
