new Bell & Ross range
New BR 05 models released. Nice size 40mm. Bit different and quite interesting..
Cheers now, Paul

Nice looking watch on first impression. Pricing is a bit rich for me. I think I saw somewhere it's $4,900.

Lovely case and bracelet, looks somewhat familiar. I don't think the dial looks like its intended for that watch though.

I think it looks interesting but definitely shows what good value CW watches are.

I like the black dial version and the bracelet is great. Not sure I like it enough to justify the price though.

I really like it. Especially the black dial version.

Re: new Bell & Ross range
If it was a lot cheaper, I would like it a whole lot more even though it's a none COSC certified Sellita W300 movement.albionphoto wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2019 5:44 pm I like the black dial version and the bracelet is great. Not sure I like it enough to justify the price though.
Re: new Bell & Ross range
Paul I agree they look interesting. However I reckon that’s partly because you and I are often attracted by integrated bracelet steel sports watches.
The one you already have is though far more interesting and far better quality.

Re: new Bell & Ross range
Absolutely agreed. I would imagine a gulf between the two and the bellnross looks miles chunkier as well. Still quite a likeable design though and Ido think they are producing a lot of really attractive and very wearable watches nowadays.

Very Gerald Genta but still identifiably B&R. I like it a lot, just not at that price.

Quite like it too, over and above B&R's usual square offerings.gaf1958 wrote:Very Gerald Genta but still identifiably B&R. I like it a lot, just not at that price.

Re: new Bell & Ross range
Nice design, like most things B&R does. But, IMO, like most of their offerings, completely and almost ridiculously overpriced. I own more than one Sellita powered watch, and actually consider myself a fan. But these things are priced nearly 4 times that of a CW with the same movement and similar specs. Personally, I would throw down another 20% for a Rolex OP and not lose 50% in resale the first 6 months.
Time and money? I’ve spent most of mine on booze and women. The rest I just wasted…

Re: new Bell & Ross range
Yes definitely heavily Genta influenced.
I quite like the look, sensible size. Agree about the price though, it might make more sense as a good second hand buy in a couple of years for £2k rather than the £3,990 UK RRP which is too much.
