My C60 is a first gen GMT model and frankly I've never really bonded with it. More a dislike for the bracelet with its PCLs than the watch itself. Others have brushed the center links but I never wanted to go that route, so I put it on a CWL black leather strap. Even with that it doesn't get out much being a diver on leatherjhitz95 wrote:I was on the fence between this Ocean one titanium and a CW trident pro, ended up with the trident in the mail now. I see you have both, any thoughts on how they compare and which you prefer? I'm downsizing my already small collection to have a diver as my only watch, for some context. It's just difficult to feel solid on either one.vikingdrvr wrote:Definitely a lot of watch for the money, I love mine! Get's out quite often and for me, I doubt the novelty or appreciation will ever wear off. Congrats on a great catch
I don't dive, so I wear divers more for their tough durability and water resistance when swimming...to me, they are more of a beater able to tackle any task. So for me the Steinhart fills that roll much better. I treat all my watches with extreme care, so 'beater' is a bit of a misnomer, but the C60 always seemed to me too nice a watch to risk a bashing. Enjoy your new Trident, they're a great watch!
