Serious question??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? on a watch forum!

Phones are well over-rated... :D
Yeah, but my iphone is seriously sha@gged out,if I get it this month I'll have to wait until August to buy another watch, so can I wait another 2 months for that GMT? :D

Well the iphone is!! It's a success of it's marketing campaign......kinda like some (a lot) of watch brands out there that like to charge a premium

I've just got a smartphone after doing a fair amount of research on it, plus actually having a go with a few, and guess what..........it wasn't an iphone

Downer, as ever your taste is supreme and I am loving that beauty.

Now I want at least two Steinharts (This and the Nav B Chrono 47 mm). I was kind of hoping the build quality would be "not up to par" so I could justify not bothering, but you have really taken one for the team and I fear Steinhart will be owing you some commission before long!

Very nice Downer and not as big as I thought it was going to be. I prefer some of their other designs more but it looks very good on your wrist.

Thanks for being so selfless and when are you going to be sending it out to us Forum members so we can all try it out? :D

Go for the iPhone then you can download the Atomic clock app to help you set all your collection. Plus there are loads of watch apps from manufacturers with lovely working models of their collection. Therefore, the iPhone could replace your whole collection!

Huh...guys? What are you doing with that stake and flaming torch

Guys, thanks for all the comments, particularly those relating to 'taking one for the team'.

I'm proud to have done it, and I will wear it on your behalf! :D

Always happy to help. :)

If you want the GMT functionality the price uplift of €50 for the ETA 2893-2 compared with the ETA 2824-2 seems like a very good deal, especially when you see what some other manufacturers charge for the GMT feature. (And they are now back in stock 8) ).
