New Arrival - My First Bremont

Post by Tooks »

Well, I've had my eye on trying a Bremont for a while now, namely a MB2, but something else caught my eye...

I'm a sucker for a Chrono, so when I saw a used Bremont Alt1-P, I had to go for it.

I know the early days in any new watch purchase are somewhat rose tinted, but I'm very impressed with the overall build quality, style and comfort of it. The attention to detail is impressive, like how the propellor on the crown is lined up when the crown is fully home, and the movement decoration and rotor are very nicely done too. The case shape is very comfortable, and it sits very nicely on the wrist. It's 43mm, great for my wide flat wrist, and timekeeping in the last 48 hours has been great too.

A few pics, although only on the iPhone I'm afraid.

Great way to start your Bremont collection, Iain! Congratulations, it's a great watch.

Someone'll be along in a minute to complain about pictures with bezels out of alignment. :)

Oops! Yes, just noticed that! Now corrected, on my wrist anyway!

What a great looking Bremont.

Not sure I have seen an Alt1-P before.

I would however like to register a complaint against the incorrectly aligned bezel.

Good grief man! The bezel is out of alignment!

... looking pretty good apart from that though.

That is a fantastic looking Bremont and love the rotor decoration on the exhibition back. Great pick up!

Congratulations on the new watch, it is a stunner.

I really like the look of a few of the Bremont's I just wish they made a watch that was less than a foot tall (slight exaggeration I know but they are massively tall)
