Here comes my catch of the day, the Kentex Skyman Pilot

Case and Crown: 43mm(w) 12mm(H), 316L Stainless Steel with PVD rose gold coating, onion crown, 10Bar WR

Crystal: Flat sapphire crystal with AR coating, it's not the best AR there is but does it job.

Dial, hands and numbering: Metallic brown/ chocolate dial, 3D structured numbering which adds a bit of depth to the some what simple dial, super lum dial index and hands, and the red-tipped seconds hand is my favorite design feature.

Movement: Its a Sii (Seiko) NH35 movement, a relatively new model, 24 Jewels automatic and hand-wind with hacking second and date, quick date adjust, beat rate at 216000/hr and accuracy stated at -20~+35 seconds/day with 41Hrs+ power reserve. After bit of wiki, seems to be on par with Seiko's 6R15 which is Prospex grade.

Of course the non-decorated movement is pretty disappointing and I would prefer a solid caseback with decent engraving. Particularly annoying knowing the manufacturer is capable for decoration such as this:

The attention to details is pretty impressive too, the PVD rose gold coated buckle for example:

Some wrist shots, though at 43mm this is certainly not one of the ridiculously large pilot watches

The Skyman pilot series comes in 4 different models, the one I picked up is a "Limited Edition" of 188 pieces and I am liking the number #68 of mine, here's the rest of the line-up

Kentex is certainly an interesting brand, its one of the few makers in Japan which imports Swiss Mov't (ETAs) also. You may wish to check out their website: http://www.kentexwatch.com/e/ptxwebstor ... t_home.asp
Really like this watch, didn't think I would acquire another pilot but I have proofed myself wrong, again

Oh, nearly forgot about the price, a modest GBP175

Hope you enjoy the read and I personally think its a nice maker which deserves more attention.
