Lovely watch and I've been on lum-tec watch for a couple of months now. Keeping an eye out and checking on used prices, as they are a bit on the expensive side new.

Yes, i'll try to save money. What do you think of LT new bronze?? Im really tempted but worried it will make my wrist turn green but think there is a stainless steel case-back to it. I think they will look good as it ages but can always be polished up again. Im still torn between a LT Tungstan or the Magrette,,,,, one of them will be ordered really soon,,, which one first i havent a clue haha.

Congrats on the new watch, their service sounds v good going by your experience. I really like Lumtec watches but they are far too big for my wrists....a smaller model would tempt me though.

Thanks for the pics Rob,,, Great looking watches. I think a Magrette is deffo next on my list. In fact just this morning i was on their Euro site and was very close to buying then but thought id better wait just a bit longer. Ive bought 4 watches in 2 weeks so ive gotta ease of a bit. Plus ive got 6 watches that are keepers in a box that holds 6 watches. Looks like i'll be shopping for a bigger box very soon too haha.

Hi Watch lover1. Yes theyre great watches and a little on the large side. I think i can pull it off wearing them with me being 6ft2 and about 220lb. I seem to like larger watches, especially divers. I had a Rolex Sub many yrs ago,, loved it at the time and just a few months ago i tried my friends on and to me now theyre just a bit to small at 40mm. I seem to go for the 44mm size lately. Although i have a Steinhart Nav B at 47mm and thats about my limit. I'll draw the line at the ridiculously huge U-Boats but i did have a 48mm model once but didnt really like it very much so sold it on.

@ christre

What i think of bronze ?

It's a nice material and very popular these days, but i don't think it's something for me to wear.
I don't like watches that looks very old. If this is due to the age of the watch (Vintage) or something like patina from a Bronze watch. I like mine new and shining.

So my answer would be; Tungsten.

If you like such watches; next year LT comes with a watch of; Cobalt Chromium.
I really can't wait, to see that one though. The material is very nice. A little like Tungsten.

Yes, i think i agree with you on the Bronze. Im like you, i like watches new and shining so having a bronze would be right for me. I think id be cleaning the thing all the time. Lots of people seem to like the Magrette Bronze so i guess it was just an idea floating around in my head. Now the Tungsten,,,, just got to have one of them.
