I'd forgotten I'd ordered it.
316L stainless case and strap
28880 high beat 25 jewel automatic movement with geneva pattern to rota
sapphire crystal
applied indices
crystal movement
40mm width 12mm high and 20mm lugs
It's an extraordinarily well made watch and when you consider it cost me $40... from Ali Express - all the more so.
It has a decent heft to it, the case has interesting polish/brushed as does the bracelet which also appears to have both solid links and solid end links.
Starking have been around since 1992 and are an OEM manufacturer. If this watch is anything to go by they have clearly got hold of a designer who knows what he/she is doing. Given that some of our favourite micro barns are Chinese made, are Starking looking to do to the micro brands who build in China, what Chris Ward has done to the Luxury market? If I did not know better I would say that this watch was an offering from a decent micro brand and would cost £300-£400 given the fit, finish and quality of the work that has gone into it.
$40!!!!
