Well done Icon, nice to treat yourself at this time, or indeed any time of the year. The BB is a lovely watch

Thanks for all the comments.

Went to buy the Red & ended up with blue. You can’t go wrong with any of them and would have been happy to walk out with the red or black. They can wait for another day :D

Hope everyone has a good Xmas.

I’m mulling over this as a possible 2018 buy. Undecided between and betwixt the red and the black. :-k
What’s your initial thoughts on it?

I went in with the intention of buying red or blue as I’ve already got a black bezel watch so fancied a change. Blue won due to the silver hands & markers rather than rose gold. Not a fan of gold on a watch but could definitely live with it on a red or black.

I’ve only had the watch on for a couple of hours & so far it’s everything I expected. Love the blue bezel & the way the colour changes in different lights. If I could change one thing it would have the face from the eta with the smile. Go for it you know you want one.

Thanks. Can the bracelet be resized yourself or is it a definite AD job?

I had the bracelet sized in the shop and i won't ever have it changed. I suspect if you know what your doing you could do it yourself but i'm glad that i won't need to change. I was told in store that if i needed an extra link in or the strap swapping over to another i could pop in and they'd do it for me.

They also told me that the servicing for the in house was £195 and its sent to Tudor. I thought that was cheap if correct.

That sounds reasonable for a Tudor service. Not as scary as I’d imagined.
I’ll have to check out the sales.

I was expecting the service to be more and thought £195 was more like the price for the eta. She said that's the current price for in house movement and didn't expect it to rise by much in 3 - 5 years when its due a service.

I got 10% discount as they had a price promise to match other jewellers who had stock and i had a 10% discount voucher for Ernest Jones.
