Having bought an original Navigator, this Tissot would do me nicely.

For me it's the JLC and the Bulgari chrono. Hands down, the perfect 2 watch collection. One dress, and one sport chrono with GMT function. I suppose I would have to keep the ACAN for the occasional dip in the pond tho. So much for only two watches. What was I thinking?
Time and money? I’ve spent most of mine on booze and women. The rest I just wasted…

You really are incorrigible and a poor example ( ok, inspiration) to the rest of us afflicted. 😁

'Tis a nice piece Gary.

Somewhat similar to your (and mine) Zodiac Grand Rally and none the worse for that.

They’re of a similar appearance Guy, although the Tissot is a beast of a different colour (well, metaphorically) being automatic (ETA 7753), larger, thicker and heavier. Oh, and three registers, not two. For all those differences though, they do nonetheless have a remarkably similar appearance...

Just managed to bag one of these new from an AD at 40% off :) Can't wait for it to arrive. Haven't tried one on yet so hope it fits well. Can I ask what wrist size you are and what strap you have fitted? Sure looks good

So I went to buy a watch, and the man in the shop said "Analogue." I said "No, just a watch."

My wrist is 7.25” maybe a bit over, or 18.5-19cm.

The bracelet fitted to it is a seventies NSA bracelet - it goes with the theme... Yesterday, I was wearing a 37mm hand wound Farer (so very thin) and when I put the Tissot on, it felt huge. It didn’t take too long before I hardly noticed it was there, but it’s getting toward the upper limits of what I like. There’s no doubt it’s a big bugger, but it’s a nice one. :)

Thanks for that, exactly the same size as my wrist so fingers crossed!
