It’s here!
Wow, I didn’t expect to be quite so dazzled to be honest! I mean, it’s black and white, sword hands, super legible. I thought it would be a watch to just tell me the time...
On opening the box I was surprised at how big it looks. But then, I’ve been wearing divers of the same size recently so this is a different experience with the lack of bezel. The fit is perfect.
The matte black dial is medicine for my eyes. Yes, I love a bit of matte.
I love the balance end of the second hand - this second hand isn’t an afterthought. It’s there to let you know that the watch is alive.
The bracelet is as slinky, substantial and comfy as everyone said it would be. For my girly sensibilities I like the fact that it’s not an oyster bracelet, which to my mind is a more macho option. I can’t wait to get it resized!
So far there have been plenty of great details to catch my eye. I didn’t really expect that to happen.
All in all it’s a very accomplished little brother to my C11!

I wonder if I can get the photos onto page 3 of this thread: you've got pages 1 & 2 sorted. That's some watch there missF and I don't imagine that it's going to cause any collection clear-outs - good! Enjoy and please keep telling us how the watch is doing.

I know you said you’d seen the video and were happy to tackle the bracelet at some point. If it helps here is a photo from the manual about sizing the bracelet.

A great choice, looks fantastic on your wrist! It'll also be a bit of a strap monster, so lots of fun to come for when you're not wanting to sit and admire your ingeniously adjusted bracelet
Looks beautiful! Crisp and clean, a perfectly readable time gage from an excellent maker. Although not my favorite style, I can certainly see the beauty and allure of it's fit, finish and engineering...
and it has the same style hands as my latest skeleton !!!
Congrats! I look forward to seeing it in the daily wrist shot thread.

OMG!
I’ve just resized the bracelet...
I was literally grinning from ear to ear. What a beautiful design. I usually feel like I’m wrestling with bracelets which made this all the more smooth and fabulous. Just a joy. Wearing this one is going to be a delight rather than a challenge!

I’ve tried a few different straps on it now. For me, the only way to show the watch off properly is either on the bracelet or a black leather strap. I’ve ordered a really nice leather strap - half matte leather with box style stitching at the lug end and a taper, which is a flieger style I really like. That and the bracelet is all I want or need for this watch.

I originally bought my IWC on a strap and eventually paid the eye watering cost for the bracelet later. As soon as the bracelet went on it never came off and I don’t think it ever will.
