Thanks all for the great comments.

Although I have never been a great fan of rubber straps ( on a watch :silent: ) I quite like the Magrette one and the deployment buckle too but I can 'feel' a Toshi strap being ordered sometime soon.

But what colour strap / stitching colour combination do I choose.....decisions decisions

Chris.

Very nice. Dion has certainly stepped up his game in the strap and buckle department. The deployant looks great, and the strap is miles better than the one on my Bronze.

I am so tempted with the rose gold PVD version. Just been on the eu site and the euro prices when converted to GBP are way more expensive than the nz site. I wonder if I would be better off ordering from NZ and paying the tax. Anyone know what the tax rate would be?

Oh Magrette.. So very tempting. I'm torn between a regular looking one and one with some hand engraving which is their special thing. Maybe in a couple years. Yours looks really nice for the price.

Any comments on the quality of the finishing and movement they use?

I'm not able to help you there but my sister lives out there and is coming back to England for a visit next year. What would/wouldn't she have to pay in taxes if she just bought one and bought it back to England?

She'd have to pay local tax on her purchase. After that, nothing else to pay.

Not sure what the import duty would be but I think you have to add 20% vat to the watch price too.

Just attempted to order a regattare PVD via the EU site but the payment method failed :( Have emailed them to see if I can pay using an alternative method or if I need to re-order as I did receive an order receipt email.

Which payment method did you try?

I used the - pay using a credit or debit card through PayPal option ( I used a debit card )

Hope you get it sorted out soon.

Chris.

The rose gold version is very nice, it doesn't look overdone or cheap as many pvd gold watches do. I'm saying that without seeing one in the flesh so I stand to be corrected.

Their black pvd watches look good as well as does the hand wind chrono..... oh no this isn't good......

I tried Docdata. might have been my fault, never used it before. Think I will use Paypal instead, but there is a charge
