I quite like the vintage on a couple, the steinhart ocean vintage and the c11 vintage from CW, never been taken with much else though

I think when Graham bolts a giant teapot on the destro crown, and a fire hydrant on the pusher, then it balances the whole look of a date wheel at 7:00.

I have been very sensitive about date window on the dial lately, hence most of my watches with numerals instead of baton indexes do not have one. The best place is 6, otherwise at 3 and that's it, no date window please.

+ 1

6 and 3 are fine. I don't like date windows at 20 minutes or 22.5 minutes past. :(

Don,t like the OP,s version much.

And such a shame, as they almost got it right with this one. I think i could just forgive the tea pot on this though.

I like the watch, but not the date window at 7.

Watches which look like they may well prove useful in self defence!

While I do appreciate the engineering, I just cannot get past that teapot.
