Wow! What a find and top marks for pushing them down even further (not a common Brit trait). This is my favourite Omega.

Mortis wrote:Great bargain. The Planet Ocean is not for me, as I can't quite get on with the hands, but other than that it's a beautiful watch.
I do see where your coming from Mortis, sometimes i prefer the aquaterra hands but overall, i like the symetry of the P.O's as they suite a diver style.
TXAG96 wrote:That's a beauty. I have stared at that model more than once. I think Omega did a great job marketing the coaxial movement. I really enjoyed the explanation at this link of that specific movement type http://www.omegawatches.com/spirit/watc ... w-it-works. I don't own an Omega, and I'm not trying to market their stuff, but that is a great way of developing potential customers' interest in the "guts" of the watch. Or maybe I just have too much time to read watch sites and am easily intrigued in glorified powerpoint presentations. I'll admit that could be the case.
Thanks for the extra info :) , know bits of this but is an excellent overall explaination.
I miss all the great things that may never be.
