bought from Auction (a first for me) at a good price and with a bit of TLC (don't you just love Cape Cod) came up in mint condition.

That’s a lovely one Nigel.

Thanks for your comments Patrick and Gary
The whole buying experience and then the TLC required put this one right at the top as far as favourites are concerned.
It's a gorgeous watch and am very pleased with it and it gets a lot of wrist time :)

Patrick, I think that I have a watch to go with every shirt

A close call between this:

And this:
1FD34271-273D-4C95-AE54-88A2C0E70BF2.jpeg
However on the basis that the first is a simple three hand current production model dive watch and the second was a chance encounter with something discontinued and more complicated, from a favourite brand, I will go with the second.

Either way a bit of a bargain to have funded both from the proceeds of an LE Speedmaster. :)

Certina re-issue diver is the 2019 add for me.

2019 saw some downsizing.
I started like

And then

And now left with my vintage Sub and Certina.

In a year in which I obtained (courtesy of this forum) my grail, a Speedmaster Moonwatch, I’m opting for this:
9DF9138A-1939-4361-9B19-7EA58C377062.jpeg
It has a purely hand-wound, non-hacking Seagull movement, but my word, the watch face under the acrylic is a beauty

This one, because it ticks so many boxes (sporty but a bit dressy, in-house movement, hardened steel case, applied indices).
