Look OK.
Faintly underwhelming.
Sounds like a brand of inexpensive ready made trousers.

Re: Farer - a new British brand
Well at two posts into page two of this thread it's not looking too good.... So Farer not so good you might say?
Oh me? Well I quite like the look of the GMT dial, I think it's the use of colour (I can be a bit Early Learning Centre I've been told! ) but as I've always said I have no use for a GMT feature that'd be the end of that. What do I think about the prices for quartz watches? I'd better just grab my "owned-from-new-when-innocent-enough-to-pay-full-price" C7IRR COSC and C70 Vanwall COSC. Actually I have taken a firmish line ever since on quartz pieces.

I like the CW magazine, but still wish there was more about watches than lifestyle nonsense.
The Omega magazine was even worse, it only had a few pages about watches. Absolute drivel.

Re: Farer - a new British brand
It's a lot of money for a 'cheap' looking quartz watch, and for that reason, I'm out......

Re: Farer - a new British brand
If I wanted to spend that much on a quartz I would look at CW or Elliot Brown.

Agree with the Elliot Brown suggestion, although they are perhaps a bit on the large size for some wearers.st-rider wrote:If I wanted to spend that much on a quartz I would look at CW or Elliot Brown.

Guy, that Elliot Brown does look rather nice. I would go with that rather than any of the Farer watches. Nice one!
