^^ my understanding, and please correct me if I’m wrong, is that Tudor use an aluminium bronze alloy (CuAl*) as opposed to phosphor bronze alloy (CuSn*) which is the more common alloy used by most watch manufacturers including CW.

Aluminium bronze tarnishes less and does not develop the green verdigris pigment to the same extent as phosphor bronze.

I don't know what the Tudor Bronze mix is, but I do know it's been designed to not go green and go black instead. Having handled both the CW and Tudor, the bronze does look and feel different.
Current collection incl Citizen, G-Shock, Rolex, Seiko, Sinn & Tag.

I have looked carefully at bronze watches and they are not for me...I remember when the first wood watches came out I wasn't a fan of those either. perhaps a watch with a tungsten case. ;)

Do you like bronze watches?

Bronze has a warmth which isn’t possible with stainless steel.

Not at all, don’t see the appeal. Especially the one’s with those faded brown leather straps.

Have seen Ombré pictures and don’t like them either, but would be boring if we all liked the same watches.
I have a few TW Steel watches which many on here would despise, so we all have different opinions.

I do like the look of some of the bronze watches but haven't took the plunge yet and bought one. My favourite is the IWC Spitfire Chronograph, but I'm not about to drop the best part of 6 grand on one anytime soon. I'm with johnnysharp2 though on straps. The trend is to stick them on brown or distressed leather which I don't think does them any favours at all. The IWC on olive canvas would look fantastic I reckon.

Although I don't dislike the look of bronze watches, they are not something that I would purchase for two main reasons:
1) I do like to have the option of wearing a metal bracelet on a watch, and that seems not to be an option with most of the bronze watches that I have seen. It would be interesting to see a bronze offering that included a solid bronze bracelet.

2) I am not keen on the patina idea, though I realise that the original finish can be restored.

I realise that this is very much down to personal choice though.

The only bronze with bracelet that I am aware of is the Oris Divers 65 'two tone' bronze

Thank you for that information. That Oris model (if it is the one on the stainless and bronze bracelet), looks interesting, though I’d need to see it in the flesh I think, to decide whether or not I would like it.

Its this one I was thinking of. I'm not a 'two tone' fan by any stretch of the imagination, but I do like this one. I have thought of looking at it on the bracelet, swapping out to a strap and saving the bracelet for when I'm old enough to think two tone is cool

Seriously though, I agree that it is an interesting looking watch. I really like the dial colour.

I avoided brown (albeit it's distressed as you say) as I tend to match/contrast the dial with the strap rather than the case. Whilst it goes great with the watch it's a little flamboyant for some with how the light catches it.
I don't think I could ever own two bronze watches, they're a bit too niche for me to feel like another one would be a change of look.

That Oris watch that you referred to (TigerChris) was the one I that I viewed on line earlier, and I agree it looks nice.
The CW watch above looks especially nice on the matching blue strap.

Not a big fan of the bronze dive watch with the bronze bezel. I am liking the new CW Ombre though. The bronze is much more subdued on this model.

A crappy montage but will give an impression
