That was one of the reasons I looked at the Black Bay to begin with. While I have quite a few Omegas, I certainly like (and own) other brands as well, so I thought it might be time to investigate Tudor as one-off...bspj wrote:Good luck. It is a nice dilemma and MissF's assessment seems spot on! For me, it would be the BB because it is different from your other watches, tho' not being an Omega means it is less congruent with the Omega 'Collection '.
I hadn't really been that impressed by them from the pics I'd seen, but I figured if they're so popular there must be something to them in reality that appeals vs photos. And that's very true, I found them much nicer in real life and can now understand the wide appeal.
I must also admit that I also found the Pelagos very nice, though it overlaps with my collection much more than the BB. The advisor was also a beautiful watch, but the price is significantly higher and hard to justify in my mind, particularly as I'd never use the alarm complication that probably makes up a large part of the cost. The case shape is just gorgeous and I love a watch with crowns at 2 and 4!
