the reason behind the uncertainty...I'm a big Tudor fan..but not keen on aluminum bezels....and like the Bell and Ross as its not something you see every day...

choice of two...

If it was for myself, I really like the B&R but if you think there's a chance it will be resold, the retained value will be higher on the BBK... Hard to pick a winner between the two, but I guess the Tudor is popular for good reason...

If you can live with the snowflake hands then I'd say the Tudor is the easy winner.

The B & R is a good looking watch and slightly left field maybe. However I love my BB and would have to go for that.

The other important factor as Gary mentioned is the resale value if you decide at some point you want to move it on.

Both great watches though and you should try go them on before deciding, if you haven't already.

But for the godawful hour hand I'd say the Tudor, but personally couldn't bear to look at that every day so for me it would be the B&R.

If you can stand the hand, get the Tudor.

Bell and Ross for me, purely because I prefer the left field option.

Isn't this a review of a different B&R (BR V2-92) to that on the original post (BR126) ?
Similar face but subtle differences and smaller size I think.

Anyhow choice wise ? I want to like the Tudors but there's a few bits in the design that might stop me buying 1 - the hour hand, the crown that sticks out, the (IMO) bulky looking shoulders and side case view. BUT somehow as a whole watch on the wrist it looks good and I think the Black can work in formal and casual and sporting situations.

The overall look of any of the B&Rs with round dials is IMO more elegant (is that what you want?) and if the revised range is 40mm or 41mm then all the better. BUT they can be a bit Speedy looking and if you think you might want to sell it later I wonder what the difference in resale value between the Tudor and B&R would be.

If I had to spend the money on 1 or the other I'd buy the exact Tudor in the photo, i.e. the outgoing version with the rose logo and ETA movement in the Black, but that's without having tried either of them on.
