Bulova Spaceview

Post by village »

With my current fascination for tuning fork watches, i have just aquired this cal 214 Accutron Spaceview from 1967.
Lovely 'hummer' in the more unusual square shape and in really good condition. Another interesting feature on these is there is no crown...you set the time by flipping a lever on the back of the watch....similary you don't need to take the case back of to change the battery-it is also accessed by a 'screw hatch' on the back which Bulova issued a little key with the watch to open.

Very nice Andy.

I have one also. I will have to get some photos of it. I think the "Spaceview" is very unique.

Nice one Andy.
I have been interested in one of those for sometime now.
Would you mind telling where you purchased it.
I seen a couple of ropey ones on Flea Bay in the past and kind of gave up.
It's very different and i like different
