Very nice indeed Hendrix. I like the way the model develops over the years, and whilst the case and bezel remain the same shape, the detail changes slowly and subtlety. One thing I like about the more modern versions, over my older one, is the longer hands.

Enjoy, it's a watch that'll last forever!

Thanks ever so much. I agree entirely I had a 98 SMP and was really taken with subtleties on the new one. This one is definitely a keeper!!

Looks great, I really like the newer seamaster with the ceramic bezel and the slight rounding of the date wheel opening. Would be nice to see some more pics and a review of it if you get chance :-)

Win-win, I reckon, Hendrix. Excellent choice, congratulations!

I'm a bit biased but would definitely go with Omega.

It has more of a timeless look and I believe the more subtle face and numerals make for a more versatile watch that you can wear on more occasions.
Rolex: Explorer II 16570, OP 39mm
Omega: Speedmaster M. Schumacher LE, AT 8500
CW: C11 makaira, C900 WT
Hamilton Khaki King
Revue Thommen Air Speed, Louis Erard Heritage Automatic, Glycine Combat, Zodiac sea dragon, Aramar Arctic Marine
