Re: best 'enjoyment / £ ratio' watch
Going to have to say my Trainmaster Legend. Picked it up new for a steal a few years ago, nothing similar comes close in fit and finish and enjoyment factor anywear near what i paid. It spoiled me to be honest I keep looking for the same sort of deals on watches now, but i doubt I'll every get a bargin new like this again. I forgot how much i love this watch, I've worn this constantly for the last week.

A Tag Heuer 2000 that I bought in 1995 and still wear sometimes With so many hours on my wrist the 'buck' part is close to nothing and the 'enjoyment' part built up over 21 years

I've been thinking about this for a few days. A few in the gone-but-not-forgotten camp might qualify but I'm in agreement with Joeyjoejojo.
I picked up this Ball Pioneer a couple of months ago for an excellent price and I really enjoy wearing it, especially on the Combat Straps strap. So I suppose for enjoyment/£ratio I'd have to put it ahead of other watches which are favourites in different ways.

I am not a collector of watches. I used to be able to say that and know I was telling the truth.

watching you fail in your quest for a “one watch” has been great entertainment

Enjoyment per £ doesn't have to mean cheap. Does it?
For me I think it ought to be my Damasko DK15

Re: best 'enjoyment / £ ratio' watch
Without a doubt the best enjoyment vs cost is my Explorer II. I wear this 90% of the time, with maybe the North Flag, BB Red, and Seamaster getting 1 or so wears a month. I do everything in the Explorer, including golf. Paid $6000 used-but-new with AD papers on Canwatchco last summer, and have not once regretted the buy.
The best use-to-cost ratio must be my TAG Kirium F1 digital chronograph from 2003. This was my daily and nightly 365/24/7 watch for 12 years until I got into Citizen and CW during Christmas of 2014 and broke my one-working-watch collection. Cost $2100 US in 2003. Three battery changes since, and one polish/pressure test last spring, before the following photo was taken.
