Well, they all look rather spiffing, Guy. I particularly like the Dodane.

Appreciate that Greg.

Wonderful little haul! Bravo sir!

The Laco is bloody lovely, the MAT is a perfect sports watch and the Dodane is rather unique!

Thanks for posting these other photos Guy.
Both very striking watches, not forgetting that lovely Bronze too !

I'm glad Patrick pointed out the C11 Elite similarity as I saw that straight away too.

All memorable watches for you, one in particular even more so ;)

Three individual looking watches, a very productive outing. I rather like the MAT, not a brand I'm familiar so will need to get googling.

Enjoy

Wow Guy ... you proper went for it

Like the colours of the Dodane, but why is the 12-hr bezel reversed?

Bezel is 'countdown' configuration, as opposed to a 'timer'.

The C11 Makaira Elite has the same.

wait...are they vacuum-packing watches as if they are hunks of meat to be stored in the freezer?

Agreed Nigel; moratorium is blown away totally.

It was necessary at the time but I'm now doing a bit of catching up.

Think I might need to buy another watch box to fit all my recent purchases in.

Well; I'd intended to get my Laco Westerland unwrapped today fro #FliegerFriday but didn't make it.

In a way I've got two options;-

1. Unwrap it later tomorrow morning, take photos in good light and start a record of how the patina develops on the bronze, taking care when I wear it or

2. Unwrap it tonight and wear it first thing in the morning, treating it as a watch to be worn; with any consequential dings.

Decisions, decisions.
