Baltic MR01

Post by tikkathree »

This little beauty arrived earlier today, hopefully to slake my salmon dial thirst.

Is it pretty? Yes it is.
I'm not sure that it's too small but it's clearly at risk of being worn by the two people in this household. Here it is in sunshine and shade

Why thank you missF. I'm thinking of it as a companion piece for the ice blue Twelve: the watch which I have to prise from my wrists just so that I don't exhaust the dear thing and give the other watches a chance

That's cool! I love the style of the numerals, and the off-center placement of the small seconds. Very nice

The MR01 is a watch I really like. It is such an elegant piece, with an air of the traditional but not old fashioned. Salmon dial would be my choice too.

Nice one! I’ve been looking but have not yet made the leap. It hits so many style points: small seconds, Breguet numerals, smaller size, the movement/rotor is interesting, etc.

** edit for annoying autocorrect typo

That's a nice piece, Pete. Some lovely features.

I do wonder though if your choice of green 'gator strap isn't a bit strong for it; notwithstanding that it is typical of you for strap choice. :-k :-k
