This may sound weird to a lot of people (and coming out of my mouth) but haven't you got a mako for that?

Could an £80 watch really dive to 1000m?! I'm not so sure...lol

I'm guessing that since Apeks are a highly regarded scuba and dive equipment manufacturer that the claim would have to hold true. However, I will never be putting it to the test

As for ugly as sin, beauty is in the eye of the holder, and I'm all for function over form… sometimes…

don't know anything about them, but i'd presume they're a rebadged something. i doubt apeks manufactures them.

looks like it could be a proprietary strap of some sort, or at least something oddball. that could be a bad thing with something that likely doesn't move a lot of units (and could disappear from the market).

personally, i'd rather just pay about the same for a mako or seiko of some sort.

Well it certainly looks solid enough and sometimes its nice to go with a lesser known brand which not everyone is wearing :)

Think the Quartz movement may be some sort of Seiko judging by the website

Either way £80 doesnt break the bank so enjoy

I've looked at these before too but I can't remember seeing them as low as £80. Care to share where you saw them?

Thanks.

Yeah, it looks like a catalog case. It's probably from the same company that made this one used by Deep Blue and Tauchmeister. The case used by Apeks looks like a slimmed down version of these.
