Re: Anyone else looking at this . . . . . .
A blue one (brushed case) appeals to me, but I don't like that the lume on the hands is a different colour to the lume on the indices.
So I may have to go for a black one! There is a space in my collection for a hefty diver - I have thought about the Oris Aquis Small Seconds, but that's a tad expensive. This one could fit the bill and also act as a partial beater, given the price. After all, the whole watch, steel bracelet, Zulu strap and an extra leather strap all cost less than a deployant clasp for my Omega Speedy!

Would rather pay double and get the Raven deep tech if I wanted a slab of diver.
I miss all the great things that may never be.

I was thinking of the blue dial /brushed case as well, but that's the combination I have with my Explorer.welshlad wrote:A blue one (brushed case) appeals to me, but I don't like that the lume on the hands is a different colour to the lume on the indices.

I'm therefore inclining towards a blasted case / black dial with yellow font & second hand.

The blasted cases do have a better range of hand options. Hmmm.

I've been wanting a pvd diver for some time and have been looking hard at the Steinhart Triton but budget doesn't allow at the moment. A black one with a yellow second hand and an extra black strap might keep me going.

Re: Anyone else looking at this . . . . . .
Well then; I've gone and done it. One Obris Morgan Pradata ordered! I went for the blasted case with yellow font / second hand.
I reckon the blasted finish complements the tool / tactical style of the watch best, particularly with the 'naked' bezel'; the matt finish softening the chunky nature of the watch.
Ordered three ZULU straps as well and with the current low(ish) USD to GBP exchange rate the whole order came to only a little over £203. Even allowing for 20% VAT / Fedex charges that's got to be a very good value watch.
Now just got to wait until 15th June for shipping, which gives me time to work out which of my current collection is to be sold.
