Interesting comments on the smaller size XT. I do love the Omega Seamaster, and the mid-size is certainly cheaper... The Colt is not a bad looking watch. Less bling than most of the Breitling lineup. Of course Andy had to remind me of how fantastic the Superocean Heritage is... I can't afford it anyway, so it doesn't really matter.

Thanks for the kind comments regarding the watch and the photos, the ones of you with no taste that don't like the watch can "Knackers!"

Strangely, before I started liking the Colt, I had considered giving Lorn the Colt and getting a SOH myself - I love that watch - especially in black!

As far as the Omega goes, prices seem to be quite comparable with the full size on watchfinder and other sites, so I'm impressed that I got a bargain when I bought mine!

I shall try and get decent photos of my other watches, but, to get 9 decent pictures, I took 47 pictures  - not a good rate I fear!

Practice Makes Perfect as the old saying goes. Just think how expensive it would be before digital. But that is exactly what professional photographers would do. Take loads of pics, print out quick strips from the negatives and only select the very best ones to print out full size.

I played with the various settings on the camera, some of them just turned out blurry nothings while others turned out crystal clear pictures that were too dark/light. Really haven't got the nack yet. The last time I had a decent camera was in the days of fillum and manual settings and I loved it! My little light meter and "bracketing", messing around with loooonnng exposures and different setting resulted in some really good piccys. I just cannot work out how to achieve this level of personal responsibility for my pics and yes, I have read the manual! :(

Sure I'll get it one day... maybe!

Well, I take back my previous comments Xt. That last shot had a little too much something and a little too little of something else. Get it sorted man!

As delicate as I can ask this question... Your second picture, middle watch with the square face. What brand is it? I tried to figure it out, but I just couldn't bring myself to look as closely as would be required. I am at work, and I work at a church. Nuff said.
