Many Happy Returns of the Day.

What a pleasure to see a watch colour scheme that is so different from the norm.

Great looking watch and obviously a great wife too.

Very nice birthday present. I'm standing by my earlier comment that the white Ocean 2 is by far the best looking of the bunch. The macro lens isn't too shabby either. I might have to rethink my opinion of the iPhone as a camera (with a little outside help).

Any idea if that iPhone lens work on an iPad?

V.
Thanks

Just tried the lens on my ipad 3 and no joy. Looks like they have them for iPhones and iPods but not iPads. Here's the link http://www.olloclip.com/ if you haven't found it already.

Thanks Chris - was hoping it would work on the iPad.

Happy Birthday

Just a couple of questions: are you into Ska and Two Tone by any chance?

And why does the black O2 look so much bigger than the white in the comparison shot?

Cheers

Funnily enough I do love ska and two tone, Madness were my first music love but no influence on watch buying  or are they perhaps subliminally influencing my choices...

And as for size. You ever see that episode of Father Ted? It's just that one is closer

+1......on all of that. The white does something to the Ocean 2 that changes my mind about it for the better. Very nice bezel lume!

All the best on your birthday.

And where can I get that lens from?
Amazon.co.uk (those tax dodging little ...)
I'm about to purchase it but only one thing is stopping me, I have the option to get it in steel or leather strap, is the bracelet good? Or should I get a bracelet from another brand the difference is about 25 euros only.

Get the bracelet. It's excellent quality and well worth the extra outlay. In my experience its always easier to pick up a decent leather strap after the event and far more difficult to pick up a decent bracelet.

Steinhart bracelets are absolutely outstanding...had them on two watches in the Ocean 1 series and for the Nav B Chrono. High quality and extremely comfortable.

If you decide to circle back to Steinhart for an OEM strap I don't believe they charge shipping on their straps, so an easy "get" in the future.
