The older, 8888 LE, seemed to have a less crowded dial. I loved the watch but it wears large, on tiny wrists, and doesn't feel very comfortable. It seems that the case remained the same in terms of size (44mm) .
I am curios if they still use AR coating on the outside, which was a magnet for scratches.

If you look closely at the Bulova, the indices have been truncated to make room for the subdials (not munched though). They're the same width as the index at 12, just significantly shorter.smegwina wrote:Perfectly acceptable. The bullymoon was designed for space.
Weirdly I don't find the indeces as noticeable on that.
Look at me, defending I watch I have no intention of buying.

Re: Alpina Startimer Pilots Automatic Watch
Funnily enough, I was about to pull the trigger on the Startimer Pilot Chrono from Jura at 50% discount but they changed the sale to 25% the day I decided to go for it. The next day, I got the email regarding the CW 50% sale on C1000's - I guess some things are just meant to be!
Alpina are a very under-rated brand and I for one wouldn't mind adding one of their pieces to my collection at some point.

I just think it's cool to have an obsolete technology on my wrist that actually works. - rfortson
