Your not kidding. Im sorely tempted to have both. Geeez this is all going to cost me a fortune.

Yeah and I'm not kidding either  . I'm really tempted to go straight in for the orange. This watch is such a good package, I can see my others suffering from now on. I love wearing this thing; the weight is perfect, the bracelet the most comfortable I've worn by far and it looks great. I might hang on for orther things on my wish list and get the Orange while they're still available at RLT for the money. Having said that, I'd be happy to pay a lot more for this watch; still can't get over it... :)

I never got instructions with my 5’s and I didn’t know this. However, I can’t even begin to understand why that would make a difference. Do you?

Russ
No, I'm not sure what it does either Russ. It seems to have worked though. I've sized the bracelet now, with some difficulty as there are little, very fiddly inserts that go into the bracelet and then the pin sits inside them. Very awkward to do but managed it in the end. Well worth the effort, I've been wearing the watch today; fantastic. It's gonna get a lot of wrist time... :)[/quote]
Flash,

Well, regardless of the reason, I'm going to try it. I've been looking at Monsters on Amazon.com and they have an orange one on sale for $219, a fantastic price. I read that orange was best for diving but I don't dive, it just looks nice. You guys have beaten me to death over this Monster and it looks like I may be joining the club. Besides, I can't take it any more! You all have got me convinced about this watch. Too many of you saying the same good things about it. If I want to keep my sanity, I'll have to get one.

Good lad Russ, you won't regret it. My missus has said she'll get me the Orange for Christmas; just got to convince her to bring it forward to like - now

Flash,

Get the orange one now and tell her you need the black one for Christmas. Got to have two! So you can alternate, right? Tell her you want to make sure the mainsprings stay healthy.

Flash,

Yea, also tell her that you just won’t be able to relax yourself knowing that your mainsprings are all so tense and wound up! Have some sympathy!

I'm glad to read others warning of the little fiddly bits in the Monster bracelet; I hadn't liked to mention it in case it was just me being awkward. Those little bits are bush bearings, aren't they? Try finding one when it rolls off the table and drops on a pile carpet... Powerful torch and looking for the glint saved my bacon, but I've kept the spares with the link taken out most carefully...UB

I had a bit of fun when one sprung out of my tweezers like a bullet. Took me half an hour to find it as it had gone straight through my kitchen door into the hall way. They are little buggers to deal with :)
