Leprosorium is not 'a russian leper hospital'! From the few poorly translated things I've read it looks like it's a just a forum who are trying to portray themselves as super-exclusive and shrouded in mystery, which they may indeed be.

I'm also not convinced the watch has been made (yet?) as the only photos I can see are CGI?

Definitely pretty though!

All joking aside, that is simply stunning. I absolutely love it. I am a sucker for black and red, and that hits all the right numbers.

Gorgeous watch agreed, even better comment smegwina..LOL

I really like the new racetimer in the range too, what an utter belter that is..800 euros for a 7750 powerhouse with day date complication and 3 dial chrono.. and perhaps even cooler than that a titanium case and bracelet! Try getting all that for less I dare ye, also they do one in light blue and orange, gulf racing colours..winner

The lepromatik is a astunner nathan I totally agree...

To be fair the whole range is impressive..prices are giveaway for the quality too... better than CW in my humble opinion at the moment

I think I agree. I really like the new styling of the c900 mp and jh, sleek and modern but until they put these watches in a different case, I won't be buying one. I really don't get on with the c9 case. The same applies to the world timer. I would love to get one but the case puts me off - enough not to buy it. I hope steinhart release this for the mass market at some point.

Certainly Steinhart offer great value for money, build quality is right up there, but I would be cautious about saying they are altogether better than CW across the board. Their web site shows off the watches very well indeed, and I think their style of photography is miles better than CWs.
They are different, and incredible value. And a low risk purchase, as they sell on very well and some models keep most, if not all of, their value.
So I wish I was James Bond, just for the day.

Fair point Richard but they are better value than cw, and as Nathan said the cases of the new cw watches have put me off, I will admit the world timer is flipping clever but looks like yet another c9 variant..I love cw watches don't get me wrong, and the service is super, but quality is lacking for me ATM, 3 watches back to have silly faults fixed in 5 months of the 5 watches I owned has somewhat dented my confidence, especially as I posted my gmt back with a wonky gmt hand, they disagreed and sent it back, it was sent back yet again with a. Strongly worded letter and lo and behold this time it had a. Gmt hand lined up properly and was regulated.. Annoying! Plus at the minute it's endless regurgitations of the same thing in new colours.. Let's have some new stuff please, I really liked the new c1000 until I saw it in the flesh, very underwhelmed, the Steinhart chrono is less than half the price and better!

I know this is rather old thread so I apologise for bumping it up. I just happened to come across the pics of real Lepromatik timepiece and I can tell - Steinhart delivered.

It's a shame that most people have to say one is better than the other. My c60 blue is a great watch, my Black Sea is also a great watch..... Simple.
