A Blog To Watch prize

Post by cholmes »

As some may recall, I won December's http://www.ABlogToWatch.com Giveaway contest and the prize is a gorgeous Frédérique Constant watch. Until it arrived yesterday, I had no idea which watch I would be wearing. I will be writing a review for A Blog to Watch but in the meantime, I wanted to share with you guys the pictures, as I simply don't know anyone else who cares as much. :-)

An exciting amount of packaging and frufru surrounded the watch:

When I finally got it open I saw it was the classic Frédérique Constant "heartbeat" watch (model 315).

The bracelet was slightly oversized on me, making me feel sort of like a Lilliputian:

But I had the bracelet sized down this morning and really like the way it feels on the arm- heavy and solid but smooth.

It is large for my wrist, but I love it. I am so grateful to FC and to ABTW for the watch! I also really appreciate all your alls' enthusiasm.

:explode: ACK! Why did this post in sales corner? It is NOT for sale! Can this be moved to general? Sorry.

Damn! And there I was about to hit the PM button!

Actually, I wasn't, but that is a seriously nice watch to win as a prize, Carolyn. Lucky girl, and once resized it looks great on you.

No, in fact, on second thoughts it looks awful on you and should be sent to me for safe keeping!

WELL DONE! Enjoy & wear in good health!

I don't think i've ever seen a bracelet that needed so much adjustment  ...i can't help but think it would suit a nice, leather strap.

Not my cuppa personally (open hearts are amongst my watch dislikes) but well done indeed for winning it and i hope you get years of enjoyment from it :D
