Looks good on you - congrats!
I went Googling to check on its case diameter - 40mm. I agree that that is on the big side for a women's wrist, but still very much wearable. My mother and I both wear 40mm watches on occasion.
I also noticed that the date wheel was actually a stencil-like wheel of numbers! Very interesting.

Again well done. Not sure at first about the date, but after a while quite like it as it is unusual. Are you able to make an extra bracelet out of the spare links?

That looks great Carolyn.
The bracelet sized down well.
Now where's the little wooden boat?
PS Nice wallpaper.

That is great - it looks terrific on you, and it's good to see a valuable prize going to someone who'll appreciate it!
I've entered several of their competitions: I really wanted to win their 'build your own watch' prize, but no luck...

Wow ... What a lovely watch. Congratulations on your win. Love the style.... I like the older look... Almost Big Benesque if that makes any sense. Lovely!!
