If funds were no concern, it would be the Zenith for me. You don't see many around.

Steve, I know you are bit off Bremont these days, but the new polished-case Alt1-C/PW is a lovely watch in the metal - traditional, dressy and still a tough case that should remain pristine.

I may have a perfect trio, but it hasn't prevented me from considering a cull to buy one.

Potentially sell:

Explorer 14270
Seiko MM300
PRS-14

To buy:

Sub 14060, or Sea Dweller 16600 or 16610

Thanks Richard. I do like the look of that Alt1-C and, indeed, most of the other Alt1-C variants too, particularly from above, ie looking at the dial. However, I know that they would be too tall for me and 43mm is a little outside my 38-42mm preferred range. Even 42mm is pushing it unless the watch is suitably thin (like the Speedmaster).

I've plenty of time to think anyway, as I won't have the funds for a fair while yet!

That is undeniably beautiful, Greg, but I'm not sure it would hold enough interest for me in the long term. Also, whatever I choose will really need to have a bracelet option.

Not discounting a different Zenith though! ;)

Well Steve I have a feeling you will go for a Zenith with 3 different colour sub dials. It's been on your wish list for ages and it seems you prefer it to a BLNR. :)

Haha! Someone's seen a post on TZUK! :) I do prefer the Zenith EP over a BLNR, but that's primarily as I've already got the GMT functionality covered by my Explorer II (and possibly by another incoming  ) as well as the Rolex bezelled sports look covered by my SDc.

At the moment, in my mind I have a two-horse race between the Zenith EP and the Daytona. But one is roughly twice the (street) price of the other!

No rush though, so plenty of more research can yet be done! :)

Hi Steve....did I read somewhere that Zenith made the movement for Rolex in the Daytona's until about 2011 when they went in house? (just trying to get you in a Zenith and save you some $$$$ :) )
